Brand information

Kangol – the 504 flat cap that became a cultural icon

The classic beret lies at the heart of Kangol’s fashion heritage, while its hip-hop caps showcase the brand’s modern side. The British fashion company was founded in 1938, although its now-famous kangaroo logo did not become associated with the invented name Kangol until 1983. Across styles and subcultures, its successful 504 flat cap brings together influences from rap, golf, British chic and casualwear. From the airy Ventair flat cap and on-trend army cap to colourful checked casual hats and relaxed knitted pull-ons, Kangol’s sought-after collections capture the vibrant spirit of this cult brand.
